TERMS & CONDITIONS
DISPATCH TIME
Unless items are stated as ready to post, the clothing will be made to order. The time taken will be shown as a turnaround time on the website banner unless the items are stated as a preorder. For preorder items these please look in the description below the clothing to see when to order by and when items will be posted. I will always endeavour to make sure that items are sent out early where possible but please be aware that delays can occur and I will always be in touch if there are issues.If purchasing ready made and made to order items at the same time, please check the correct postage at checkout or items will be reserved for posting together when the made to order items are completed.
The turnaround time does not include postage times and these can take between between 2 and 5 working days. If you have not received your order during this time please contact me using the contact form here.
POSTAGE
There is the option at checkout for recorded delivery. This is recommended as items can be tracked and their whereabouts located quicker.
Standard delivery will be posted 2nd class and I will pop down the Post Office, probably on the school run, to get proof of postage for every package I send (I’m getting to know the ladies behind the screen quite well!)
If you think your order has gone missing please get in touch with me within 14 days of when you expected the delivery. If contacted after this time, orders will not be replaced or refunded. If items are lost, I will replace the order to the same address.
REFUNDS & RETURNS
Please check size charts and descriptions of items carefully before ordering. If in doubt please size up as kids definitely grow! If you order the wrong size you can exchange the item but the postage will come at cost to the buyer. If the item is a custom print, the exchange will be dependent on fabric availability and turnaround time. If the item is a ready to post item, other sizes may not be available. In the event of no exchange being possible, a full refund or store credit will be offered.
If the item you receive is faulty please contact me immediately and the item will be replaced at my cost.
Please use the contact form here, before sending an item back with your name, order number and date of order. Unless I have these details, I will not be able to process the return.
Returns must be returned in a perfect, unwashed condition within 10 working days of emailing me. Any items showing signs or wear will not be replaced and be returned to you. Once the item has been received and checked, I will send a full refund plus postage of the sent item (this does not include your return postage.) I recommend sending items tracked as no refunds will be given until items are received.
CLOTHING CARE
None of the fabric is washed before making items so a small amount of shrinkage may occur during the first wash. After this the item will stay true to size. Please wash items at 30 degrees and do not tumble dry. Iron on a low heat if neccesary. I recommend using a colour catcher to help keep colours bright during washing.
DISCOUNTS
Every now and then, there will be a cheeky discount popping up either on my Instagram page @alternativ_bones or over on Facebook – come and join me on my feed, page or both! Please remember to enter codes at the Checkout. I will not honour codes in retrospect. Any store credit must be used within 3 months. Store credit does not include postage.
